Damn Yellow Cap

What is a Damn Yellow Cap? It's a particularly awful bit of headwear that was adored by actor Orlando Bloom. Here he is wearing it. Yep. Awful. But on ka-Bloom.org, we all kinda were fond of it in a weird way, and thanks to one gal, it became a very fond thing indeed. In 2004 I took "damnyellowcap" as my username on LiveJournal, which is how it stayed for about 2 years. It was a hard decision to switch from it, but at least I still have this website.

Update: Feb 24, 2008

The point of this site has changed over the years. It used to be a space for blogging, but as I became more involved in the Harry Potter fandom I found that it was easier to stay at LJ. Some subdomains have been somewhat maintained, but I went an entire year without updating this main page. That made me sad, and I intend to do something. I'm not quite sure what, exactly. I still am quite entrenched in LJ, and I have no desire to try and keep up two blogs. Right now, I'm hoping to update my fanfic more often, as well as my recs site and icons, and perhaps archive more things here for posterity. After the kerfluffle in the summer of 2007 at LJ with deleted users and communities, it's certainly not a bad idea to have other options.

For now, I'll just try to update my fic and the recs site, and get some links and a mini-bio about me up here. We'll see what happens after that.
